Job description

This role involves:

  • Reporting to directors
  • Supporting the management and delivery of newly awarded contracts
  • Ensuring a smooth transition from contract win to operational delivery, making sure that requirements are met to provide excellent service
  • A clear focus on customer relationships, to ensure expectations are met utilising and managing a dedicated mobilisation team.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and operational teams, assisting and guiding them as required.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand new contract wins and support the bid process
  • Manage the mobilisation process
  • Work with all parts of the business to ensure that specific activities and costs work for the contract concerned
  • Work with sub-contractors to agree PPM delivery within budget and timeframes
  • Conduct on-site asset condition surveys as part of the mobilisation process
  • Manage and complete administration activities to facilitate the process, including asset registers, PPM planners, H&S risk assessments, customer information and any site-specific documentation
  • Provide detailed cost plans whilst also ensuring cost control of delegated mobilisation budgets
  • Costing of any contract amendments during the mobilisation phase
  • Liaise with internal departments to provide a seamless mobilisation process
  • Perform risk assessments as and when required within the business
  • Prepare and present reports as and when required
  • Assist in the support of the Pre-Qualification and Tender responses when required
  • Capture, gather, verify, validate against client/tender list review, prepare, and import assets
  • Responsible for initial information loaded onto the CAFM system
  • Attend site mobilisations nationally
  • Adhere to company and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as determined by the company

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified within Building Services
  • Understanding of TUPE process
  • A good knowledge and understanding of SFG 20
  • Work to a high degree of accuracy with good organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Travel nationally with some nights away
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team
